Kensington & Chelsea Cruse has been providing bereavement care for over 25 years, since 1981

Cruse Bereavement Care exists to promote the well-being of bereaved people and to enable anyone bereaved by death to understand their grief and cope with their loss, regardless of age, religion, disability, gender or sexual preference.
The organisation provides support through volunteers.
Kensington and Chelsea Cruse have a volunteer team visiting schools in the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea and Hammersmith and Fulham, to talk to teachers and support staff who are interested in learning how to support bereaved children.
Research shows that children bereaved of close family members - whether parents, grandparents or siblings - have much better outcomes if well supported and able to talk about their experiences.
‘Dare to Talk’ can be tailor made to suit a school's requirements.
If you would be interested in the team visiting your school please email us.
The death of someone you love may affect you in several ways - emotionally, physically, socially and in many practical areas of your life. It can present you with one of the greatest challenges you will ever have to face.
